Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Kublets Admin and all related services provided through kublets.com and kublets.app ("Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms on behalf of yourself and the institution you represent. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Kublets. By accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have the authority to bind the institution you represent and that you accept these Terms in full. Use of the Services by individuals under the age of 18 is not permitted.

2. Description of Services

Kublets provides a cloud-based SaaS platform for intelligent academic schedule planning and administration. The Services include:

  • Guided academic schedule planning and conflict detection.
  • Teacher availability and assignment management.
  • Multi-campus and parallel class coordination.
  • Automatic generation of academic reports and institutional documents in PDF, DOCX, and XLSX formats.
  • Export and adaptation of reports to institution-specific formats and branding.
  • Collaborative tools for academic planning teams.
  • Account management, user roles, and access controls.

3. Account Registration and Access

To use the Services, you must register an account using a valid institutional email address and accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must promptly notify Kublets at support@kublets.com if you suspect unauthorized access. Kublets reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. License and Permitted Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and timely payment of applicable fees, Kublets grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Services solely for your institution's internal academic administration purposes.

You may not:

  • Sublicense, resell, or otherwise transfer access to the Services to third parties.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of any part of the Services.
  • Use the Services to develop a competing product or service.
  • Scrape or systematically extract data from the platform by automated means without prior written authorization.
  • Use the Services in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or networks connected to the Services.

5. Subscription and Payments

Access to the Services is provided on a subscription basis. The following terms apply:

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a semi-annual or annual cycle, as selected at the time of purchase.
  • All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your subscription.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize Kublets to charge the applicable fees on a recurring basis.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Kublets reserves the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days' prior notice to registered users.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

The following cancellation and refund terms apply:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@kublets.com.
  • Upon cancellation, your access to the Services will continue until the end of the current billing period.
  • No refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period, except where required by applicable law.
  • Annual subscriptions may be eligible for a pro-rated refund within the first 14 days of the subscription term, at Kublets' discretion.
  • Kublets reserves the right to terminate subscriptions that violate these Terms without refund.

7. Institutional Data

You retain full ownership of all academic data, schedules, personnel information, and institutional content you upload or create within the Services ("Institutional Data"). Kublets processes Institutional Data solely to provide and improve the Services, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that the data you submit is accurate and that you have the necessary rights to use it within the platform. Kublets does not sell or monetize your Institutional Data.

8. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, design elements, trademarks, logos, report templates, and content provided by Kublets, are the exclusive property of Kublets and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in Kublets' intellectual property beyond the limited license described in Section 4. Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about the Services may be used by Kublets without restriction or compensation.

9. Service Availability

Kublets strives to maintain high availability of the Services but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, updates, and circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including internet outages, force majeure events, or third-party service disruptions — may affect availability. Kublets will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance in advance. The Services are provided on an "as available" basis.

10. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Upload, transmit, or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or harmful.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any institution.
  • Introduce malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt or damage the Services.
  • Conduct unauthorized security testing or penetration testing on the platform.
  • Use the Services in a manner that violates the privacy or rights of third parties.
  • Circumvent any access controls, authentication systems, or usage limitations.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. KUBLETS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KUBLETS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES. IN NO EVENT SHALL KUBLETS' TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kublets and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Services in violation of these Terms; (b) your Institutional Data; or (c) any breach of your representations or warranties under these Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Mexican States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Mexico City (Ciudad de México). If you access the Services from another jurisdiction, you remain responsible for compliance with local laws.

15. Changes to These Terms

Kublets may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before the new terms take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated agreement.
